David Gergen's advice for future leaders

David Gergen, editor-at-large for U.S. News & World Report and a senior political analyst for CNN, was the keynote speaker at the Capella PhD Colloquium on July 13, 2009. Gergen spoke in honor of the establishment of Capella's School of Public Service Leadership.

Gergen is a best-selling author, public servant, and commentator who served as an advisor to presidents for 30 years. He is currently a professor of public service at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government and director of its Center for Public Leadership.
