Kathryn van Asselt, PhD

Dr. van Asselt joined Capella in 2006 as an adjunct faculty member; she has been a core faculty member since 2008. She is a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor; she also holds Special Services and Professional Teacher licenses in the state of Colorado. Prior to her work at Capella, Dr. van Asselt worked as an elementary and middle school counselor, and taught at the University of Northern Colorado.
