What kinds of jobs?

February 25, 2011Hanna What kinds of jobs can I get once I have an EdS?

What to do ?

November 15, 2011Michael Most of my family members who already have a High School Diploma and a College Degree can't find work or a employer, one of them live in California now with homeless people. If I go to your college or university what are the chances I will get a employer or at the very least a job after I graduate?

Satisfied M.Ed. Curriculum & Instruction Learner

November 27, 2011Jessica I am currently completing my final quarter at Capella and faced the question, what next? I emailed my enrollment counselor Molly and we decided that I would begin the Ed.S. (with a small break of course) in April. Molly made sure I understood that C&I becomes a PhD instead of EdD because it is more theory and philosophy based and that I could transfer my EdS credits. I have taken 2 classes a quarter without stopping since May 2010, and until recently earned an A in every class. I am a full time world history teacher, not married/children, so I basically ate, slept, and breathed Capella. When I begin my EdS in April I am going to do one class a quarter during the school year and 2 classes during summer break because I need some ME time! Overall I am very satisfied, and for those like me who become frustrated during discussions when other Masters level learners write the way they "speak" just let it go because in the professional world you will run into it as well.
