Leadership Coaching Psychology specialization

Sharpen your skills and establish your credentials in the fast-growing field of executive coaching. This specialization offers a rare opportunity to develop coaching expertise within an MS in Psychology degree program. The curriculum, based on competencies outlined by the International Coaching Federation and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, prepares you to apply psychological theory and practices to help organizational leaders meet their professional and personal potential. People who choose this specialization are often organizational, clinical, or counseling psychologists who want to develop a coaching practice, or human resources professionals with internal responsibility for executive coaching and leadership development.

Leadership Coaching in The World of Business

November 22, 2010Dianne The leadership coaching program provides a range of coursework and activities that provide the background necessary to coach others in the business world. Over the last three years, I have acquired the knowledge base and confidence in my ability to be an effective frontrunner in the field of executive coaching. The future of coaching will be greeted by informed and consumers who want the best and the brightest credentialed professionals. I have shared my academic journey with learners and instructors who have enriched my professional and personal world view. Theory and real world application come together in my ongoing reflective learning journal. I am confident that I possess the core competencies to serve my constituency because of the superior training that I have received here, at Capella University.
