Health Policy specialization

Strengthen your ability to develop sound health policies and advocate for effective change. The curriculum for Capella's online MHA is designed around the National Center for Healthcare Leadership (NCHL) Competency Model™ and features collaborative, practice-based learning that incorporates industry best practices and the knowledge and skill sets expected by leading health care organizations. The Health Policy specialization focuses on concepts, principles, and processes associated with effective health policy and advocacy, including global health systems, health care policy drivers, and policy and legislative communication. Convenient electronic textbooks lower costs and provide immediate access to course materials. People who choose this specialization are often pursuing senior-level positions focused on health policy and advocacy within health clinics, hospitals, outpatient care centers, and other health care facilities.
