CCNE accreditation matters
CCNE

The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) is a nationally recognized accreditation agency approved by the U.S. Secretary of Education. Accreditation by CCNE serves as a statement of good educational practice in the field of nursing. The following Capella programs are accredited by the CCNE*:

Capella's Nursing Honor Society

The Nursing Honor Society at Capella University was created in 2010. The society is currently establishing society bylaws, growing membership, formalizing eligibility criteria, electing officers and setting term limits. The Capella Nursing Honor Society plans to apply for membership to Sigma Theta Tau International to form our own online Sigma Theta Tau chapter.
